Ikmal Fahmi is a Malaysian entrepreneur that founded IF Reporter, an online and remote news agency based in Machang, Kelantan, Malaysia. In early 2023, he published his e-book called Explore Inner Self. He won a grant worth RM 4500 in YSEALI Bootcamp 2022 which enabled him to organize Kau Okay Tak K.O.T Expo, a children mental health expo. In early 2024, he ventured into his news agency start-up called IF Reporter and founded IFG Technology, a cybersecurity firm in the same year. To further create a healthy political way, he came out with Akademi Parlimen Malaysia, a political education enterprise followed by IFC Property, a construction firm.
As a student entrepreneur he has to juggle between studies and career. Ikmal Fahmi is a student majored in Bachelor of Business Administration at UNITAR International University. He has been offered to participate in the Digital Leadership Executive Program Cohort 5 funded by MyDIGITAL Corporation and implemented by the Asia School of Business.
He has started up 4 businesses in 2024 alone. He spends all his savings on the startups. The money is spent on the operation cost of his startup companies which include business registration fees, and website subscription fees. He can minimize the operation cost as all his companies operated remotely and do not require working spaces.
He is currently engaged in the Live Your Purpose Through Entrepreneurship, a 12-week accelerator” program, sponsored by the U.S. Mission to Vietnam to seek funding opportunities and further enhance entrepreneurship skills with the help of distinguished mentors like Philip Harding, the co-founder of IMPACTJUNKIE
