BN to Launch Johor Election Machinery on June 7

JOHOR BAHRU, 3 June 2026 (BERNAMA) - UMNO will officially launch Barisan Nasional’s (BN) election machinery for the upcoming Johor state polls this Sunday, June 7, at Educity Stadium in Johor Bahru. The event is scheduled to begin at 3.30 pm.
BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister, and Johor BN chairman Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, the caretaker Menteri Besar, are expected to attend.
Johor UMNO Information Chief Md Israk Abdullah emphasized that the launch is more than a routine gathering. He described it as a show of solidarity and unity within BN as the coalition prepares for the election.
He added that strong turnout from supporters will symbolize the people’s continued trust in BN’s leadership and its role in driving Johor’s development.
Md Israk urged BN members and supporters to attend in large numbers, dressed in BN’s signature corporate blue, to demonstrate the coalition’s strength and commitment to ensuring Johor’s stability and progress.
