MUAR, June 26 – The Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery in the Muar division is fully prepared and has locked in its campaign strategies ahead of the upcoming Johor state election. The main objectives are clear: to retain the Sungai Balang state seat and to successfully recapture the Maharani state seat.
Muar UMNO Division Deputy Chief, Norisam Sahidan, stated that a comprehensive action plan has been meticulously structured down to the polling district (PDM) level, adapting to localized issues and scenarios. He emphasized that the machinery is ready to launch an aggressive 14-day campaign the moment the official campaign period begins.
To ensure victory, BN will implement a hybrid campaign model combining digital media platforms and traditional ground enforcement. The digital approach is specifically designed to counter and debunk narratives spread by political opponents, while the traditional approach will focus on direct, face-to-face community engagement.
The central narrative of BN’s campaign will pivot around political stability. Norisam highlighted that the people of Johor ("Bangsa Johor") prioritize a stable government capable of ensuring continuous development and welfare, both of which have been successfully delivered under the current state administration.
Concluding his statement, Norisam urged young voters and fence-sitters to turn out in large numbers on polling day. He urged them to grant BN a stronger mandate to guarantee that Johor's development agenda can move forward uninterrupted, tailored to the unique aspirations of the state.
