This event, organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), will take place from August 21-24, 2024, in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. "Dear Mr/Mrs/Ms,

In 2022, the city of Kazan was awarded the status of the Youth Capital of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. The key event of the year was the Kazan Global Youth Summit, which for the first time brought together 300 youth policy leaders, diplomats, and experts on key issues on the international youth agenda from more than 60 countries. To identify the main challenges and trends within the youth environment and search for the best practices in youth policy, it was decided to hold the Summit on an annual basis.
In the year 2023, the Summit brought together 140 delegates from 30 countries, and the main agenda was related to traditional values in raising children and youth in the modern world. In 2024, the Summit’s agenda will be dedicated to the following topics: digitalization, modern tools in youth policy, development of artificial intelligence, as well as the mental health of young people. As a result of the Summit, a joint resolution will be signed and an action plan will be adopted, which will form the basis for the implementation of joint children’s and youth initiatives and long-term cooperation programs in the countries of the Islamic world, BRICS, and the Asia-Pacific region.
We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Muhammad Ikmal Fahmi Bin Che Mohamood will be the only representative of Malaysia at the Summit, chosen among 220 highly motivated candidates competing for each finalist position. This accomplishment highlights his exceptional qualities and his ability to represent the aspirations and perspectives of Malaysian youth on this esteemed platform. All local hospitality expenses (food, accommodation, transfer in Kazan, and cultural program) as well as the one-way airfare costs (from Kazan to the hometown) are covered by the Organizing Committee. We kindly request your assistance in financing the flight to the event location, Kazan city. Your support in this matter would be greatly appreciated and will enable Mr. Muhammad Ikmal Fahmi Bin Che Mohamood to fully engage in the Summit.
